After evaluating multiple materials, PureGym selected Jemiclad for its outstanding hygienic performance and durability. Jemiclad is a solid PVC extrusion, making it:
- Impervious to water
- Hygienic and easy to maintain

- Ideal for thermoforming and hot welding
To achieve a seamless, hygienic finish, PureGym specified:
- Hot-welded vertical joints for complete waterproofing
- Thermoformed internal and external corners
- Custom finishing details designed collaboratively with Jemiclad
This ensured a 100% waterproof system suitable for changing rooms, washrooms, and high-moisture areas.
Design & Rollout
PureGym and Jemiclad worked together to refine the aesthetic and functional details, finalising a scheme using:
- The White One
- The Dark Grey One
This palette has now been rolled out across more than 240 locations, in both new build projects and refurbishments of older gym facilities.
To date, Jemiclad-approved installers have completed over 160 PureGym sites, with dozens more scheduled for this year.
